Angela I really don’t know where to start. 

You are in the business of helping people to create events and memories that are impactful, and that live on in memories for a lifetime. Well we all did that last night. The emails and calls have been coming in all day---from people who have thanked us for reminding them to take some time to celebrate the good times, to others who carefully noted every detail of the evening, and to still others who were so overwhelmed by what was going on that they could barely catch their breath for long enough to really notice everything. 

Ronda and I gradually developed a vision for what the night might look like, but we did that with an experienced, wise and skillful pair of hands at our side. I liken the process a bit to a guided hike, of which Ronda and I have done many in recent years. Once we got ourselves into the rhythm of the process, we came to have a very good feeling for where we wanted and needed to get to, but we had a guide at our side to keep us from detouring onto the wrong trail, and to ensure that we made all of the best choices along the way. And what fun we had with you--- over the course of four tastings, meetings with tent suppliers, and meetings with Laura, and then Peter at Blooming Hill. You always made yourself available, despite how busy you are, and in the face of the occasional challenge in getting even Ronda and me together at the same time. And of course you did tons of running around, which Ronda and I could simply never have done. 

Matthew said today that one of the things he thinks is most terrific about you is how, compared to other event planners, you are the picture of calm and grace during an event, never hurrying around in such a way as to suggest that there is some sort of crisis that needs to be solved. He’s right, you have a Zen-like effect on everyone---you’re in charge, and everything is going to be just great. And of course it always is. 

You’ve been at our side for some of life’s most important events, Angela, and because of that, and because of the lovely and wonderful person that you are, you’ve become very dear to us.
